The rooms, equipped with every comfort and furnished with antique furniture, are located on the fourth floor of a building constructed at the beginning of the 20th century, directly above the ancient ruins of the Excubitorium della VII Coorte dei Vigili, dating back to the 2nd century AD.
Behind the Sonnino Suite, beyond the rooftops of Trastevere, you can see the Aventine Hill and the Orange Garden, where, in Roman times, elegant patrician homes were built. The splendid and colorful mosaic floors are still visible inside the private courtyards.
